Africa Rugby Tier 1B Tourney:
- Match Days: 5th, 8th & 11th July 2015
- At Legends & Kyadondo Rugby Grounds – Kampala
Mauritius National Rugby side was the first team to arrive for the Africa Rugby Tier 1B Tournament in Kampala that kicks off on Sunday
The team of 30 touched down at Entebbe International Airport on Thursday night at 8:40 pm aboard Kenyan Airways on flight KQ 416.
They were welcomed by several officials from the Uganda Rugby Union (URU).

Mauritius is drawn in Pool B alongside Botswana and Ivory Coast while the hosts, Uganda are in Pool A with Madagascar and Senegal.
The tournament starts on Sunday, 5th July 2015 with three matches at Kyadondo Rugby Grounds.
Madagascar opens the way with a mid-day duel against Botswana. At 2 p.m, Uganda will take on Ivory coast before Mauritius plays Senegal in the last game on the day.
The tournament shall then take a two day break before the second day of action on Wednesday, 8th July 2015 at Legends Rugby Grounds.
It will then be wrapped up with action on Saturday, 11th July 2015 at Kyadondo Rugby Grounds.
Other Team Arrivals:
Botswana is expected in the country on Friday morning aboard Kenya Airways flight KQ 410 before Ivory Coast comes in at 1 p.m still Kenya Airways on flight KQ 412.
Senegal will travel in two batches. The first comes on the same flight with Ivory Coast and the rest will arrive by mid-day on Saturday with Kenya Airways, flight KQ 418 together with the Madagascars contingent.
All teams will be accommodated at Silver Springs Hotel in Bugolobi for the entire duration of the tournament.

Sunday, 05 July 2015 – Kyadondo stadium
- Match 1 – 12pm: Madagascar v Botswana
- Match 2 – 2pm: Uganda v Ivory Coast,
Match 3 – 4 p.m: Mauritius v Senegal
Wednesday, 08 July 2015 at Legends Rugby club
- Match 4 – 12:30pm Uganda v Mauritius
- Match 5 – 2:30pm Senegal v Botswana
Match 6 – 4: 30pm Madagascar v Ivory Coast
Saturday 11 July 2015 at Kyadondo stadium:
Match 7 – 12:30pm Senegal v Ivory Coast
Match 8 – 2:30pm Madagascar v Mauritius
Match 9 – 4:30pm Uganda v Botswana
