Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Edgar Watson has promised to personally sponsor former Uganda Cranes and Sports Club Villa Jogoo teammate for a coaching course.
Watson made the remarks shortly after featuring in the Hakim Magumba testimonial match which witnessed the current SC Villa team beat Magumba friends 4-0 at Nakivuboo stadium.

In his submission after an emotional Magumba (shed tears during his speech) castigated selfish club administrators and in particular attacked the SC Villa CEO, Ivan Kakembo whose relationship with the gifted midfield gem had hit a dead rock.
Watson described Magumba as social and extremely talented footballer;
Magumba has been a personal friend for many years. He has retired active playing but not quit football. I will sponsor his first course anywhere he wishes to attend
The FUFA CEO finished off Steven Bengo’s well squared ball in the other match that featured EX-Internationals and Friends of Magumba.
The Ex-internationals won the game 3-2 with the goals coming from Magumba himself (brace) and veteran forward, Mathias Kawesa.
Magumba then changed sides in the second half and played for his friends team where he again scored to cake a memorable testimonial match, the first ever in Uganda’s football history books.

Several ex-international players turned up for the historic match. These included; Mathias Kawesa, Kefa Kisala, Willy Jamil Kyambadde, Alex Isabirye, Phillip Obwinyi, Herbert ‘Masanda’ Nsubuga, Sam Kawalya, Edgar Watson, Ibrahim Buwembo, Ronald Mugabi, Deo Sserwadda, James Odoch, James Kakooza, Jimmy Kidega and many others.
A few active players like Andrew Mwesigwa, Derrick ‘Rasta’ Walulya, Simone Masaba, Steven Bengo played in the Magumba friends’ team.
Celebrated footballing musicians, Eddy Kenzo and Mathias Walukagga granted the football fans a raw taste of their unquestionable football expliots.
