UPL Match Day 2: URA F.C 1-0 BUL F.C

Uganda Revenue Authority football club got to a winning start in the 2015/16 season with a slim 1-0 home victory over visiting BUL F.C in a Uganda premier league duel held at the Mehta stadium in Lugazi on Tuesday.

New recruit, Godfrey Villa Oromchan scored a 16th minute match winner against seasoned challengers, Bul football club from Jinja.

Oromochan was one of the 7 new players that the club officially unveiled on Monday at their home base in Gayaza.

He was signed from FUFA Big league side, Paidha Black Angels in the transfer window.

The result means BUL F.C’s jinx of not winning their league opener in as many years continues.

The team now coached by former URA head coach, Alex Isabirye has not beaten URA in 4 seasons.

URA’s next match will be on Friday against SC Villa at Nakivubo Stadium.

BUL F.C on the other hand hosts Sports Club Victoria University at Kakindu stadium on Saturday.
