  • Lweza F.C Vs Express F.C – Mutesa II Stadium, Wankulukuku

Lweza F.C is in a desperate quest for their maiden point of the season with a tricky home fixture against Express at the vast Mutesa II Stadium, Wankulukuku on Tuesday.

After a shaky start that was marred by relegation and postponement of their opening fixtures of the season (for failure to comply with league regulations on time), Lweza F.C was given a rude awakening when they lost 4-0 in their opener against Soana.

New tactician, Joseph Mutyaba (from Bul F.C) will be once again tasked to quickly re-assemble the side against another equally solid opposition in Express.

Key actors:

Lweza F.C will still be missing newly signed Hassan Kikoyo (off for professional trials in Asia) but in Mike Sserumaga (missed opener against Soana), they have a formidable replacement.

Mutyaba has an option to choose between Nigerian import Rapahel Onoh, Farouk Musisi or the returning former Uganda Cranes international Nestroy Kizito for the left back role.

Team skipper, Ibrahim Kiyemba is still available to provide the back coverage.

For Express, they are looking at the fixture in anticipation of yet another impressive home performance.

Having won 3-2 over Maroons in the last fixture, Express accumulated 5 points since they had drawn both their openers.

Tonny Odur, Samson Ceaser Okhuti, Sulaiman Mutyaba, Rogers Lukwiya and goal keeper Ali Kiggundu will be the backbone skeleton of Wasswa Bbosa’s coached team.
