For the 7th year running, Ndejje University has proved to be a force never to be reckoned with as far as Corporate and Club Woodball is concerned.
The Luweero based institution won the overall title as the 7th Woodball tournament that climaxed at St Joseph Technical Institute, Kisubi on Sunday.
Ndejje won the overall clubs and institutions events, getting the better of over 20 teams in the best attended event ever.
Entebbe Municipality mayor, Vincent De Paul Kayanja was the chief guest as he lauded the sponsors, Uganda Woodball Federation and the teams for the commitment thus far.
I appreciate everybody who has done his or her part to see this game (Woodball) develop. I promise to accord the best support to see the game grow further.
Joan Mukoova was flawless and unstoppable on the fairways
In the fairway women event, Joan Mukova edged Lillian Zawedde to win the gold medal.
Ndejje University’s Dennis Ssekidde was unstoppable in the men’s category.
The primary and secondary schools categories were held and climaxed on the opening day.
