The sponsors, CAA are delighted to have the event being part of the Aviation Week activities. The Intenational Civil Aviation Week is globally celebrated every year from 1 – 7 December.

Like the norm has been for the past five editions, once again, CAA has bankrolled the Uganda Chess Federation biggest event with a package of ten million six hundred thousand shillings (10,600,000/=).

The highly competitive Championship is to be held over two consecutive weekends from Saturday 5th – Sunday 6th and Saturday 12th – Sunday 13th December 2015.
