Uganda Cranes captain at the 2015 CECAFA Senior Challenge Cup, Farouk Miya has appreciated the entire playing staff, the technical staff and the fans for their contribution towards the team’s 14th title.

Uganda defeated Rwanda 1-0 in the finals to win the 14th title in the rich laden history of Africa’s oldest football tournament.
Miya scored 3 times in six matches to guide the Cranes to victory and his leadership abilities were evident throughout the tournament.
After the quarter final victory against guest team, Malawi, Miya put it clear they were going for the finals and the trophy in particular.
He said then;
We shall work our efforts out for the finals and win the title as well
The Vipers midfielder has had a splendid season for club and country with stunning displays.
