Uganda Cranes assistant coach, Moses Basena is impressed by the level of enthusiasm exhibited by all the players of the CHAN residential camp at the FUFA technical center in Njeru.

After four training session, Basena who is the assistant coach to the Serbian born tactician, Milutin Sredojevic is left awed by the level of dedication from the playing staff.

The former Uganda Cranes international told Kawowo Sports;

Every player has been enthusiastic and ready to play. You could easily depict there is a healthy competitive spirit amongst the players as each targets a slot on the final team.

The former Simba, SC Villa and URA F.C head coach also noted about the team bond right from the CECAFA tourney in Ethiopia.

We have the right team chemistry since the CECAFA tournament that we won in Ethiopia. We shall definitely build on the CECAFA victory. We set the standards and urge the players to maintain the consistence.

The team conducted their fourth non-residential training on Tuesday with gym drills at the Paradise Fitness center (on Acacia Mall) and work outs at the KISU International School in Bukoto.

Residential training commences on Tuesday evening at the FUFA technical center in Njeru before the final team is named in the next 48 hours.

Two friendly matches have been programmed for the Cranes against Gabon and Cameroon  on Sunday, 10th January and Wednesday, 13th January 2016 respectively at the FUFA Technical Center in Njeru.
