Friday fixture; Heathens vs. Warriors -5pm, Kyadondo
After a dramatic draw with Black Pirates last Saturday, Robert Sseguya and his charges will be looking for a perfect come back.
And, the opposition couldn’t have been easier – Mutoni Warriors present Heathens the chance to go back to the top of the table before their rivals Kobs play lateer on Saturday.
It maybe a David vs. Goliath sort of encounter, but Heathens know they can’t afford to slip like they did against a Pirates side that played with 14 men for over 65 minutes.
“We have to bounce back,” team captain Michael Wockorach stated after the draw over the weekend.
The first Friday game of the season finds Warriors still winless after three game days and a win over the defending champions is probably too much to ask of the side that sits just a place above bottom placed Impis.
At 12 points, Heathens will leapfrog Kobs (15) with a win, Kobs visit Makerere Impis Saturday afternoon and will be expected to pick up maximum points.
