Rwanda Premier League side, Kiyovu Sports Club has parted ways with their former head coach, Innocent Seninga and replaced him with Yves Rwasamanzi shortly after according to a club statement.

This follows a string of unconvincing results for the club in the early stages of the first round.

Assistant coach, Elie Manirarora remains and he will now work with Rwasamanzi who was appointed immediately.

Rwasamanzi beat Hamis ‘Kishi’ Sogonya to the prestigious but demanding job.

Kiyovu FC currently sit 7th on the 16 team log.

The Rwandan elite league will resume as soon as the CHAN 2016 finals climax early next months.

The news at Kiyovu come at a time when Uganda’s George Ssemwogerere was named head coach at Musanze Football Club last week.

Ssemwogerere, who is already in the country commenced work immediately.
