SCVU fell to a 4-1 defeat to Soana after brilliantly taking charge of the game in the first half.

Bronson Sserumira gave Haruna Mawa’s charges a deserved lead in the first half but failed to better their advantage as the game went on .

The defeat condemned the University side to their 11th loss of the season.

Although his side surrendered the lead, Mawa felt his charges produced a spirited performance and praised his team’s great efforts and display .

“I thought we played well” he commented. “We kept attacking them even when we went three goals down. you could see the hunger and desire, and that’s what a team in our situation needs” he continued

With The Saints winning their tie, SCVU now find themselves back to the bottom three. the coach says;

“The relegation battle is still wide open and its going to be like this till the last two games. we just have to continue playing like we are and get back to winning ways because I know our fate will be decided in the last games”
