AFCON 2017 QUALIFIERS (Group D):

  • 2nd Leg: Uganda Vs Burkina Faso – Tues, 29th March 2016 – Kampala

Uganda Cranes head coach, Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic on Wednesday released the full list of the the traveling team to Burkina Faso.

Kampala Capital City Authority defender, Timothy Awanyi is the surprise inclusion on the 18 man team that has two local based players (Joseph Ochaya is the other).

The squad will be captained by Geofrey Massa.

The team departed Entebbe International Airport after mid-night aboard Ethiopian Airlines.

They are expected to have a stop over in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia before departing for West Africa where they reach Burkina Faso by 11 a.m.
