Uganda Rugby Cranes assistant coach Robert Seguya has promised to list new faces on the final squad of the national team following a drop in performance of the regulars.
The Heathens tactician revealed that some familiar faces could miss out, and probably get replaced by hard workers.
“I thought many of the players from last year would be miles better by now,” Seguya told Daily Monitor. “But some are in the same place while others have dipped in form.”
“I am not choosing names but I will field people who are ready to play. I am ready to select new players each year if they are the ones willing to put their bodies on the line.”
Last year had many missing out and among those was talented Ivan Magomu. The Pirates fly half was “shocked” at the double snub both at Elgon Cup and later Africa Rugby Tier 1B tournament.
The technical team also dropped Collin Kimbowa, Ronald Adigas, towering Oscar Klayango and Eric Kasita.
