JMC Hippos Vs Lweza – Kakindu, 4:00pm
JMC Hippos have gone four successive league games without losing and would wish that run to extend when they host Lweza at Kakindu on Friday.
The Jinja based side who edged the reverse fixture 1-0 at Wankulukuku last year last lost a game on March 11 when went 1-0 down at Soana.
In their last, Odoch admitted being lucky to salvage a draw against Maroons but pointed at fatigue as the reason for the underperformance.
“I don’t think we played well against Maroons,” he said. “In fact, we were lucky to earn a point. They boys were fatigued after spending several nights at the late Abel Dhaira vigil but they are now fresh,” he added.
The hosts will look to experienced defender Musa Walangira to thwart threats by another veteran Geoffrey Sserunkuma who is enjoying a scoring spree with the Entebbe Road side.
The Hippos are 5th on the log with 34 points while Lweza are 9th with 29.
