Despite winning two straight league games, Gor Mahia’s Brazilian coach Jose Marcelo Ferreira is yet to get impressed.

The Kenyan Premier League defending champions came from a goal down to defeat 10-man Thika United at the Nyayo National Stadium. Over the weekend, they had seen off Kakamega Homeboyz 3-0.

Marcelo Ferreira told Kenya’s Daily Nation after the game in which he had named an all attack minded side that had George Odhiambo, Ronald Omino and Enock Agwanda all starting alongside Jacque Tuyisenge.

We got three points, but I am concerned with some elements of the team’s performance. I don’t want us to just win games, I want them to play attractive football too and I have not seen that today

Mwinyi Kibwana put the visitors ahead with a brilliant solo effort midway at the start of the second stanza, Agwanda and Odhiambo who had little impact in the first half paved way for Jacob Keli and Francis Kahata respectively.

Rwandan striker Tuyisenge struck twice in the second half to give Ze Maria his second win in as many matches at K’Ogalo.

Now in sixth position behind table leaders Tusker, Mathare United and Leopard, K’Ogalo will now look to build on the win in their next game against Ushuru on Sunday.
