Heathens coach Robert Seguya has blamed the club’s recent fall from serious title contenders to possible runners up on the wrong attitude his men have always carried to the grounds.

From thrashing Gulu Elephants and Buffaloes, the Kyadondo based side suffered a heavy blow in their title race at home against Mongers.

A 12-17 loss brought them closer to relinquishing the accolades to rivals Kobs who edged Pirates 10-15 even though they still hold onto a slight chance of clinching Premiership.

“Sometimes the attitude of some players has been wrong, which is why we have failed to hit top gear always,” he told The Observer.

“As a coach, it is my role to get solutions quickly by freshening up the team.”

Heathens have lost twice this season – against Kobs and Mongers, drawn once – against Pirates, a game that was played in the first half of the season.

If Kobs defeat Buffaloes this weekend, Heathens will have lost every available chance of winning the title.
