Mayweather Promotions’ boxer Sharif Bogere emerged winner against former African champion Samuel Amoako in Silver Spring, Maryland on Saturday.
Bogere (28-1, 19 KOs) routed the Ghana native based in Silver Spring, Maryland, in their 10-rounder, marking a good start after recent switch from Oscar De La Hoya’s Golden Boy Promotions to Mayweather’s stable.
Bogere dominated the entire fight against the lethargic Amoako, winning by shutout, 100-90, on all three scorecards. Amoako never consistently moved his hands and the fight never felt much more than a workout for the Ugandan.
Victory for Bogere meant his fifth in a row since losing a decision to Richar Abril in a lightweight world title bout in 2013.
