Warriors started their season with a convincing 58-46 win over Falcons at the Lugogo Indoor Stadium and head coach Sam Obol is confident the team’s performance will be better as the season goes on.
“It is just the start and players are getting to know each other, we shall be better soon,” Obol told Kawowo Sports after the game.
New signings Philip Ameny, Ahmed Temitope and Ceaser Kizito all had impressive debuts for the Kyambogo side netting 11, 9 and 15 points respectively.
“It is a long season and we want to take each game as it comes,” he added.
Warriors were boosted by Jack Pemba’s 250 Million shillings sponsorship and the motivation is evident in the camp.
Their next game will see them take on five time champions Power on Friday and Obol remains confident his charges will be ready for anyone.
“There are no easy games and we have to be prepared for all the teams,”
