The tag Allan Kayiwa has for obvious reasons become the main center of attraction in this June transfer window.
The Express F.C skilled midfielder is a subject of contention amongst four top clubs – Uganda Revenue Authority, Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA), his parent club Express and lately Sports Club Villa Jogoo.
Whereas KCCA and URA might have held personal talks with the player and his representative, SC Villa took an extra initiative to make a down payment in January 2016.
An SC Villa official intimated to Kawowo Sports on Monday;
In January, we (SC Villa) made a down payment for the player and that is why KCCA could not sign him.
But, of late we are hearing URA is interested in him.
As far as i know, Kayiwa is coming to Villa Park.
Express has already blocked Kayiwa‘s move to URA on grounds that need the tax collectors to respect the normal trend of signing players.
Wasswa Bbosa, assistant coach at the Wankulukuku based club emphasizes that Kayiwa signed a contract extension in January 2016 which keeps him at the club until at least of next season.
