Vincent Kayizzi is one of those many Ugandan footballers who have been all over the place, locally, regionally and beyond the continent, of course that journey started at KCCA in 2003.
His second stint was between 2006 and 2008, helping the side win their eighth league title at the time. KCCA have added three already including that of the 2015/16 season.
On Monday he was unveiled by Mike Mutebi after signing a one year deal that will see him serve the side for the 2016/2017 season.
Kayizzi told Kawowo Sports of what he brings to the club;
I want to bring success to KCCA.
I believe I have a lot to offer to the club with my experience and ability, there is no doubt that being here with coaches like Mike Mutebi my career will be revived.
Mike Mutebi was the coach at Lugogo when Kayizzi was signed in 2003 and he believes there is no crime is giving the winger in his thirties another chance.
We have given so many players second chances and they have failed to use them, Kayizzi is old but he can still give you that cutting edge on the right wing.
Players like Kayizzi, Geoffrey Sserunkuma will give us an edge on the continent because we are not going their to participate but compete
Kayizzi joins midfielder Brian Majwega and striker Geoffrey Sserunkuma the other signings Mutebi has made.
The trio will be expected to play an integral role as KCCA FC tries defend the Uganda Premier League but also give another shot at winning the Uganda Cup.
