As the Rugby Cranes fly out to Nairobi for their last game of the Rugby Afrique CAR Tier 1A against Kenya, they will be looking at nothing but any kind of victory.

The match also doubles as the second leg of the 2016 Elgon Cup, Uganda lost the first leg in Kampala 10-48 and overturning the result is not their Primary target.

That’s according to vice captain Michael Wokorach who made his debut against Kenya in 2009 in Nairobi still.

“We have already forgotten about winning the Elgon Cup, we just want to beat Kenya to improve our standing in the group

Wokorach said while appearing on Game On, a daily sports show on Urban Television, he also added

I would be lying if I said we can overturn the 48-10 result Kenya inflicted on us in the first game, but the win in Zimbabwe gave us confidence that we can go and pick a win away from home. And if we win our game, anything can happen in the game between Zimbabwe and Namibia, which will again better our final position in the group

About what kind of team South African coach John Duncan will be taking to Nairobi, Wokorach (who has a distant relationship with club and national team fullback Philip Wokorach) revealed that there won’t be many changes.

The coach wants to keep a winning team together and the fact that we left Zimbabwe injury  free and all of us having responded well in training, there won’t be so many changes

Uganda defeated Zimbabwe 34-27 to boost their chances of staying in CAR Tier 1A, they had lost  31-40 to Namibia in the opening game of the campaign at Kyadondo Rugby Grounds.
