The match oozed fresh momentum with mouthwatering action, living up to the billing with close style of points-gathering from the first half.
Pariyo’s try inspired another from teammate Nathan Huish who stung the visitors in the 22nd minute, Dixon converting but Haydn Palmer reduced the points gap O’Brien grabbing the extras.
Mann’s efforts restored Newport to the summit, O’Brien proving his prowess off the tee again, however Josh Hayward gave hope to the home fans placing the ball beyond the chalk for Bedwas.
Dixon kicked through again, but as the break came closer, O’Brien masterminded another, later chipping it between the uprights.
10 minutes into the second half Myrddin handed the visitors greater advantage with another try, and Bedwas did not sit back either, Payne touching as well.
Newport sealed their victory with Tom Piper’s 76th minute try as Bedwas succumbed to a 26-41 defeat.
