The Saints 0-2 URA
For only the first time this season, URA has won two games in succession in the league.
The Tax Collectors earned a crucial 2-0 win over The Saints on Tuesday at Bombo Barracks a couple of days after beating Onduparaka 3-1 at Lugazi.
In an average first half performance, the two sides played to a barren first half but the four time champions improved in the second forcing errors from the home side coached by their former employee Moses Basena.
Ten minutes after the break, Peter Lwasa, scorer in the win over The Caterpillars over the weekend gave the visitors a lead and it took just five minutes for Congolese born Rwanda ex-international, Bokota Labama Kamana to get on the score sheet.
The URA number 9 scored from the spot after a foul in the area to put the icing on the cake for Kefa Kisala’s side, who prior to the win over Onduparaka had gone four successive games without picking maximum points.
They now move to 5th on the log with 15 points, four behind joint leaders KCCA and Vipers while The Saints are now 10th with 11 points.
