Congo Brazzaville will travel to Kampala for the group E World Cup qualifier against Uganda Cranes without their sharp striker Thievy Guivane Bifouma Koulossa.

The former Espanyol and Granada player now featuring for French club Bastia is ruled out with a troublesome ham string injury.

The fast paced French-born center forward had been named on the 38 man provisional squad by head coach Pierre Lechantre

This implies there are seven strikers left on the team with Guy Mbenza, Benny Boliko (JSP), Ismael Ankobo (ASK), Jacques Medina (La Djiri), Dore Ferebory (SCO Angers/ France), Prince Vini Ibara (Club Bizertin/ Tunisia), Sylvere Ganvoula Mboussy (Waterloo/ Belgium) and Olongo Cedrick (Bng).

The Diables Rouges (Red Devils)  are expected to arrive in Uganda on Thursday ahead of the match that will take place at Mandela National Stadium, Namboole this Saturday.
