South Africa 46-00 Uganda

Uganda Rugby Cranes Sevens got off to a tricky start at the HSBC World Rugby Series, losing to South Africa 46-00 in Dubai on Friday.

The Eric Kasiita led side didn’t dot down any in both halves, but the Springbok Sevens had several to their names.

Werner Kok opened the scores when he raced home with in the first minute of play. Philip Snyman then ran in for second after good interplay, building a gap of 12-00 with three minutes left.

Snyman was not yet done, as he was at it again. He latched unto Kyle Brown’s kick to score another, half time approaching at 19-00.

Powerful Seabelo Senatla did more damage, touching in the second half – his first try of the season. He replicated the same in the corner as scores read 29-00.

Rosko Specman made it to the try score-sheet for the first time this season as well as Ruhan Nel.

Kwagga Smith sealed the scores 46-00 as Uganda marveled at brilliance from the rugby powerhouse.
