St. George Football Club has decided not to renew the contract of kingpin Uganda Cranes defender Isaac Isinde.
The Addis Ababa based club, has had a dismissal performance in the previous two matches losing and drawing one game.
According to the club’s official statement, Isinde has been released after the club decided not to renew his employment contract since they have young and able defenders at their disposal.
The decision was made by the head coach Martinus Ignatius Nooij and the technical committee.
Isinde won four league titles with the club in 2011, 2012, 2014 , 2015 and lately 2016.
The former Iganga Town Council and Simba FC defender is tightlipped of his next step in life but stated he is focused towards the AFCON championship set for Gabon.
Three other Ugandans, goalkeeper Robert Odongkara, striker Brian Umony and midfielder Yassar Mugerwa still have running contracts with St George.
