The revelation was made by the club chairman Asan Kasingye who said they are delighted with the signing of the trio.
I am happy to announce the signing of the trio of Abdallah Mubiru (Head Coach), John Luyinda (Assistant) and James Magala (goalkeeping coach) for Police FC with effect from today until 2019.
The former Proline and KCCA coach’s first task at hand will be to save the 2005 league champions from relegation following a wanting performance in the first round of the Uganda Premier League where they finished 13th just a point and slot above the relegation zone.
The Cops have won just three games, five losses and seven draws and have amassed 14 points.
The coaching job at Police fell vacant after the club parted ways with Sam Timbe with Angelo Lonyesi standing in as interim.
