All the three newly born triplets for Uganda Cranes’ defender, Murushid Jjuuko have been confirmed dead.
The first, a boy, died on Thursday night and was buried at Ssisa on Friday at noon. The other two girls were confirmed dead on Saturday early morning.
Older brother to the Uganda Cranes defender, Muzamiru ‘Dida’ Jjuuko, confirmed the sad news to Kawowo Sports.
We are struck by the unfortunate incident. The bodies are being brought from Nsambya Hospital to the family house in Mpala, near Entebbe as we plan for the burial. This is a very trying moment for the family and may Allah keeps us strong.

Burial for the two kids will take place on Saturday evening.
“We shall bury on Saturday. This is very unfortunate but life has it all” Dida, himself a decent midfielder, added.
Jjuuko was part of the team that flew out of the country on Friday evening for Tunisia where the Uganda Cranes will camp before playing an international build up match on Wednesday in the capital, Tunis.

During departure, he was very low and demoralized as two of his close friends on the team, Nicolas Wadada and Dennis Iguma comforted him.
