Injury hit Police FC seek redemption when they visit giants Express at Mutesa II stadium, Wankulukuku.

The Cops, winless in three successive games now go into the match without four key players in Yasin Mugume (malaria), Sakka Mpiima, Rauben Kimera and skipper Ben Ocen; although the latter may return.

In the aftermath of a 1-0 loss to Bul FC on Friday, Abdallah Mubiru, and the cops coach blamed the loss on complacency.

“We were not ruthless enough,” a disappointed Mubiru told Kawowo Sports. “We were too slow in reaction and wasted lots of chances due to negligence,” he added.

Currently 10th on the 16-team log with 24 points, Police must be wary of the threat posed by the Red Eagles who picked maximum points off Kirinya Jinja SS on Sunday thanks to Mahad Kakooza goal.

The six-time champions have a chance to jump from 7th to 6th with maximum points but must also prove they can win at least twice in succession.

Coach Matia Lule is expected to make a couple of changes to the side that started on Sunday with Simon Sserunkuma expected to start ahead of Joseph Semujju.

Cameroon striker, Didier Touya who is yet to open his account for the Red Eagles since joining in the January window is most likely to maintain his starting place though.

The two sides played to a 3-3 draw in the reverse fixture at Kavumba.
