Dan Sserunkuma and Musa Mudde were among the goal scorers as Bandari walloped Muhoroni Youth 3-0 to go top of the Kenya Premier League after three rounds.

The Paul Nkata coached side were ruthless in front of the home fans and bagged their second win in three matches.

Sserunkuma opened the scoring for the coastal side; Shaban Kenga added the other and veteran Mudde put the icing on the cake with the third.

With seven points, Bandari are now on top, a feat Nkata attributed to a good defence as his side is yet to concede.

“We are yet to concede a goal and that has been out main area of strength since the season begun,” he told Soka.ke.

“It’s not only the defense but a collection of team effort that has seen us yet to concede a goal,” he added.

Despite having a water tight backline, Bandari have only managed four goals this season and Nkata feels the need to rectify the low goal scoring at the club.

We have to work however on the scoring aspect of our game too. I feel we could have scored more in our last games and for the team to perform this season; we will have to be clinical upfront.

Bandari’s previous win had come against Nakumatt (1-0) and also drew goalless with Posta Rangers.
