Already relegated JMC Hippos have confirmed they will honour their remaining Uganda Premier League fixtures despite failure to turn up for the Express duel.

The Jinja based side, now on 7 points and bottom of the log with four matches to go forfeited the match against the Wankulukuku-based side and reports have been doing round that they will not turn up for other ties as well.

“Ignore reports going around that we shall not honour our remaining fixtures,” said club chairperson, Faisal Muhammad. “I will do whatever it takes to see the club plays all our remaining games,” he added.

The club will face KCCA and Police away from home and have as many fixtures at home against Bright Stars and Jinja rivals Kirinya Jinja SS.
