Bright Stars put an end to Vipers’ three game winning streak with a goalless draw at Champions stadium, Mwererwe.

The two time league winners went into the game on the back of three fantastic victories against giants Soana, KCCA and URA but couldn’t break down a well organised hosts’ defence.

Portuguese tactician, Jorge Miguel Duarte Da Costa made one change from the side that beat URA 1-0 on Saturday with Brian Nkuubi starting in the place of injured Moses Waiswa.

Fred Kajoba’s charges, who leapfrog Police into 9th on the log on 30 points had among others midfielder Jimmy ‘Kacanga’ Kakooza to thank for a point as he marshaled the midfield well.

Vipers remains third on the 16-team log with 46 points, nine points adrift of leaders KCCA with three games to play.
