Express rallied from two goals down to end their league campaign with a point as they settled for a 2-2 draw with Soana at Mutesa II stadium, Wankulukuku.

Francis Olaki scored two quick fire goals in the 12th and 14th minute to put the visitors, two goals ahead but second half strikes from Noah Ssemakula in the 62nd minute and then from Mahad ‘Yaya’ Kakooza with ten minutes to go salvaged a point for the Red Eagles.

The draw means Matia Lule’s charges end the campaign 6th on the 16-team log with 44 points, a point and position above Soana after 30 games.

Lule’s charges still have a Uganda Cup semi-final two-legged tie against KCCA to play as they seek to finish the season with a trophy to their name for the first time since winning the league in 2011-12.
