The third round of the Tanzania National rally championship proved a disaster to both the crews and organisers after the continuous rains in Bagamoyo.

Stages were canceled while the crews had to deploy their best skills to manoeuvre the wet stages.

Randeep Singh and Zubayr Piredina posted the fastest time of the two day event.

The crew turned the day one second position to win the event with 52minutes, 25seconds.

With their first victory of the season, Singh and Piredina now move to second position on the TNRC standings with 43points; 25points behind leader Gerard Miller.

Gerard Miller and Peter Fox finished second overall; one minute, 12seconds behind winner. They maintained their lead on the TNRC standings with 68points.

Samir Nadhi sealed the podium in third to hit his best finish since his return to rally.

Day one leader Dharam Pandya despite winning all the stages, his hopes for a win were crashed after earning a ten minutes penalty on day two pushing him fourth position overall.

Davis Mosha settled for fifth position followed by Naem Zakaria and Ashu Barbosa in sixth and seventh respectively, while Isaac Taylor sealed the Stado rally finalist list in eight.

The event could not end with registering some causalities.

Ahmed Huwel, Jamil Khan, Nadeem Zakaria and others were among the victims of the Stado rally.

The fourth round of Tanzania rally championship is scheduled for July 8-9 in Tanga.
