The Uganda Cranes have conducted an acclimatization training session at the Buhinga stadium in Fort Portal ahead of the Regional Tour match against Kitara Select on Sunday.

The one and a half hour session was closely supervised by the head coach, Milutin Sredejovic and his two assistants Moses Basena and the goalkeeping coach, Fred Kajoba.

All the 23 players named on Friday trained including British born Ugandan Isaac Layne Jjunju (plays Grays Athletic in the Scottish Championship) and Danish based Robert Kakeeto who turns up for Aalborg Football Club.

A mammoth crowd attended the session on a well mowed albeit bumpy ground.

The tour will culminate into a match on Sunday at the Buhinga stadium in Fort Portal.

After the Kitara Region match the team shall fly out to Ethiopia for an international friendly match on 3rd June 2017.

There is another planned friendly match away to Senegal in Dakar before facing Cape Verde on 11th June 2017 in Praia.
