Management of Mbarara City Football Club has categorically come out to deny reports of hiring veteran coach Frank Video Anyau.
The club media manager, Mike Ddungu acknowledges that Anyau has been doing some work with the club in the pre-season, but he has not been assigned with the main job.
Ddungu revealed the nitty gritty of the arrangement to Kawowo Sports in an exclusive interview;
It is not right that Mbarara City has given Frank Anyau the head coach job.
He has been helping with the pre-season training sessions to see the new recruits.
The club PRO added that Mbarara City has offered to upgrade Richard Makumbi’s coaching papers
Makumbi, who saw the club progress from the FUFA Big League currently has CAF ‘C’ papers which cut him short of serving the club in the top flight until he secures the documentations.
