When Nick Natuhereza’s UCU Canons take on Warriors in the National Basketball League tonight, top of the list on what they have to deal with is Warriors’ physical game.

Finesse made way for grit at Warriors and going by how the two-time champions played against Our Saviors in their season opening game, the Canons are in for a physical game.

While his team is made up of mostly small players even on the front court, Natuhereza is not bothered by his opponents physicality.

“(Bothered by) their physicality…? No!” Natuhereza said when asked if he’s bothered by Warriors physical game. “We will play that (physical game) if refs let it happen,” he joked.

In their last game, Canons came from a deep hole before falling to Power 81-80 in the last seconds of the game and the coach was impressed with the performance of his players, save for the loss of concentration in the final seconds of the game.

“We did well. When you come from such a big deficit, you have to give credit. Generally, I was impressed with the players apart from the moment when they lost concentration with 6 seconds and gave away a lay up.”
