Back-to-back National Basketball League losing finalists KCCA Leopards are not taking anything for granted.

Leopards roasted Gladiators 94-42 on Sunday afternoon to stay perfect in the first three games of the season.

KCCA started off with a 22-12 first quarter led by guard Moreen Amoding and Grace Wanjiku who both had 5 points in the frame.

While they slowed down a little in the second period scoring just 11 points, Leopards (3-0) were in destruction mode in the second half pouring in 29 and 30 points in the third and fourth quarter respectively.

Amoding led the team effort with 15 points, Joy Chemtai added 14 points while Wanjiku scored 13. Stacey Lubowa, Patricia Alado and Hilda Naigaga contributed 9 points each.

Brenda Aujat had game high 17 points and 10 rebounds in a losing effort for Gladiators (0-3).

Next Games

KCCA Leopards return to action on Riday, June 9 against A1 Challenge while Gladiators will face Magic Stormers in their next game scheduled for Sunday, June 18.
