Warriors may not be playing basketball that is soft on the eye but they are winning.

The 2012 champions extended their unbeaten start to the season to three games with a win over UPDF Tomahawks on Friday afternoon.

Led by Saidi Amis and Michael Bazangu, Warriors got off a strong start scoring 25 first quarter points while letting in just 11 and did not look back

Tomahawks tried to rally back in the second quarter through forward Stephen Wokorach but got little help and they were edged 18-17 and Warriors maintained the double-digit lead over their opponents heading into the halftime break.

Warriors then out scored their opponents 37-27 in the second half to claim a 25 points blow out victory.

Saidi Amis paced Warriors with 20 points, Bazangu added 17 while Syrus Kiviiri chipped in with 12.

Only Wokorach got to double figures for UPDF and he piled up game high 27 points.
