- Uganda Cup Final
- Thursday June 15, 2017
- Paidha Black Angels Vs KCCA – Green Light stadium, Arua 4pm

KCCA coach Mike Mutebi has admitted his side are clear favourites going into the final of the 2017 Uganda Cup against Paidha Black Angels.
The two sides face off in the domestic cup competition on Thursday at Green Light stadium with the Kasasiro seeking to end a wait for the double that remains elusive despite the club’s rich history.
Mutebi also revealed he has knowledge about the opponents and ready to care of them.
“We know about them because they are playing Uganda,” revealed Mutebi. “We know what they have done and know how they got there,” he added.
They eliminated one of the giants so they are not there by accident and we have taken notice but obviously, we are favourites, no doubt about that.
The gaffer further stated that preparations for the game have been fantastic with a couple of injured players including Jackson Nunda back.
We have continued training and most of the players who were injured are back. Jackson Nunda is back. I am excited to see him back. The team is in very good state and they have a responsibility to play good football and an obligation to win and make history if you want come Thursday.
No coach at Lugogo has ever won a league and cup double and Mutebi, in his third stint at Lugogo has a big a chance and one match away from breaking the unwanted feat.
