After falling 18-23 to the Kenya Simbas on Saturday, the Rugby Cranes players have each received 150,000 Uganda shillings for their sweat.
The 23 players who featured received the money but still have training allowances that are yet to be cleared.
According to some of the players, who have played for the team before, the dossiers signed with the Rugby Union indicate that players are meant to receive 100USD for every home game and 200USD for the away engagements.
The match winning bonus of 100USD is also included in the dossier. The dossiers signed by the players are kept by the Union with the players taking no copies.

Hooker Cyrus Wathum had turned down the call up to the team this year because of the allowance narrative that has become synonymous with the union.
Nile Special is the main sponsor of the Rugby Cranes while Stanbic Bank unveiled a 50 million shillings sponsorship package for the team a few days before the Elgon Cup.
The Rugby Cranes are still in camp training for the forthcoming Africa Gold Cup campaign that starts on June 24 with a trip to neighboring Kenya for the first game.
