Uganda Cranes goal hero against the Cape Verde Islands in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier, Geoffrey Sserunkuma has saluted all the personalities who traveled to the Islands.
Sserunkuma was addressing the media shortly after arrival from the successful trip on Tuesday morning.
In his usual composed mode, the veteran KCCA forward hailed the fellow players, technical players, fans, media and FUFA officials who traveled with the team.
First of all, I want to thank God for the performance. Scoring a goal was just a bonus to me but the credit goes to everyone who made the trip.
Football is teamwork. I have happy for my personal form and the goal. For this, I give the glory to God.

Sserunkuma had moments earlier replaced Emmanuel Okwi in the 78th minute before finishing off a Godfrey Walusimbi teasing ball at the far post in the 83rd minute.
He now switches focus to his club KCCA who play the Uganda Cup final against Paidha Black Angels on Thursday.
KCCA is also preparing for the return leg of their match against Rivers United away in Port Harcourt City.
