A week after being named as the number goalkeeper for match day one of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, Denis Masinde Onyango has again received another recognition.

The Mamelodi Sundowns number one has been named in the team for the match day four of the CAF Champions League.

The Cranes Captain was instrumental as the Brazilians earned a hard earned point away to Tunisia’s Esperance to move second in group C that also has AS Vita of DR Congo and Ethiopia’s St. George.

The four man defence

Onyango is joined by teammate Bangaly Soumahoro who is part of the four man backline that also includes Soualio D. Quattara from Sudan’s Al Hilal, Wydad Casablanca’s Rabbeh Youssef and Etoile Du Sahel’s Rami Bedoui.

The four man midfield

The experts have gone with a four-man midfield that has Zamalek’s Muaid Salem Ali and Reda Bellahcane of USM Alger of Algeria as the central midfielders flanked by Zanaco’s Saith Sakala from Zambia and Abderahmane Meziane of USM Alger of Algeria.

The two-man attack

Following brace against St. George of Ethiopia, AS Vita’s Tedy Etekiama leads the attacking line in partnership with Fabrice Ondama who starred in Wydad Casablanca’s 2-0 win over Al Ahly.
