West Nile side Onduparaka have captured the signature of fullback Rashid Okocha from neighbors Nebbi Central.
The quick, versatile player who plays as a left back, but can also be deployed upfront joins the club on undisclosed fee. He put pen to paper on a three-year deal
Okocha, 22, scored the lone goal as West Nile beat Uganda Cranes 1-0 a couple of months ago during the Cranes’ Regional tour.
In what has been a busy transfer period for the Caterpillars, the left footed player becomes the fourth signing at the club. He joins striker Karim Ndugwa, goalkeeper Nicholas Ssebwato and Rajab Kakooza signed from relegated side Lweza as the new additions.
Onduparaka are still active in the transfer market.
The club is reportedly looking for another striker with rumors star player Shaban Mohammed, scorer of 13 league goals last season could be set for the exit.
