Yunus Junior Sentamu during the F.C Ilves days in Finnland

Uganda Cranes striker Yunus Junior Sentamu is braced for his first match for new club KF Tirana on Thursday in the opening round of the Europa qualifiers.

The Albanian outfit shall be away to Israel’s Maccabi Tel Aviv, arguably the oldest, largest and most decorated football club in Israel.

The match shall take place at Netanya Stadium.

Sentamu who recently penned a two-year at the Tirana eyes an impressive debut.

I am happy to be back in action. I have prepared well and ready to play to the best of expectations.

In an exclusive interview, the former Vipers, As Vita, CS Sfaxien and FC Ilves expressed his readiness to serve beyond self;

It is a new team and definitely new challenges. I am ready to face everything and excel nonetheless.

Tirana is now coached by Brazilian national Ze Maria who will handle his first game after taking over from Albanian Mirel Josa on June 15, 2017.

KF Tirana is also home to three other Africans. There are two Ghanaian midfielders Eric Asere and Reuben Acquah as well as Congo’s Moise Nkounkou.

They are captained by Erando Karabeci.
