Midfielder Owen Kasule has completed his transfer to Soana.
The former Bunamwaya (Vipers), URA and KCCA attacker joins the club on a one-year deal as a free agent after expiry of his contract at relegated Lweza.
“I am delighted to join Soana,” said Kasule. “It’s one of the most ambitious and stable club and hope to repay the faith vested in me by taking the club to greater heights,” he added.
Kasule, who scored seven goals for the Oranje last season, reunites with former coach at URA, Alex Isabirye.
At the Kavumba based club, the flamboyant midfield gem joins new signings Swaib Mudde, a former teammate at Lweza, Mike Kawooya (Jinja S.S), Faruku Kawooya (Express), Dalawusi Kiwalabye (free agent), Muwadda Mawejje (Free Agent) and former Kirinya Jinja S.S goalkeeper Joel Mutakubwa.
The club has already released five players in Dan Wagaluka, Patrick ‘Crespo’ Asiku, Ahmed ‘Ndiefi’ Ssebagala, Nasir Mbabali (loan from Vipers ended) and goalkeeper Muhammed Didi.
