Frank Kalanda has completed his move to Rwanda top tier side AS Kigali from Soana.

The striker who has previously played for Express FC and URA FC in the Uganda Premier League was unveiled on Wednesday.

The details of the deal remain scanty but it’s understood that the centre forward has penned a three year at the club coached by ex-Rwandan international, Eric Nshimiyimana.

AS Kigali finished last season in fourth place on the Rwanda Premier League table with 53 points, 20 adrift of eventual winners Rayon Sport.

They won 15 league games, drew 8 and lost 7 scoring 36 goals against 23 goals.

The Rwanda Cup 2013 winners host their games at the astro turf pitch stadium at Nyamirambo.
