2015 National Basketball League finalists UCU Canons have not had much trouble dispatching their opponents despite registering three losses thus far.

Only Power, Warriors and KIU have been able to pin defeats to the university outfit and none has been dominant.

Since their loss to KIU Titans a month ago, Canons have won four in succession sweeping aside UPDF, JKL Dolphins, Falcons and Ndejje.

And with a limping Nkumba next in line, Canons are likely to stretch their winning streak to five.

In Brian Namake, Stephen Wundi, Jonah Egau, Joas Maheta and Fadhili Chuma, UCU have too much firepower for Nkumba to contain.

Meanwhile for Nkumba, forward Malvin Midaki limped through the final stretch of the game against KIU on Sunday and will without doubt be limited if he is thrown to the floor while Brian Sivachi and Wilson Otweyo are yet to find their touch since returning to the top tier which underlines the former champions struggles.

In the women’s division, Lady Canons who have dropped just a single game thus far face Lady Marines in the 6pm tip-off.
