The psyche is clearly low ahead of the Rugby Cranes last encounter in this year’s Rugby Africa Gold Cup.

The Zimbabwe Sables are already in town but there isn’t much hype to Saturday’s clash at Legends Rugby Grounds.

The press conference organised for the two teams’ coaches and captains only attracted the home side representatives as the Zimbabweans cited fatigue for their absence.

Also, only a few members of the press turned up for the presser and they barely had questions. However, the mood in the Rugby Cranes is still the same.

The Cranes will take the tie seriously and expect to come out with a commanding win to end the campaign on a high.

“We want to end the season on a high and we shall play our hearts out,” Rugby Cranes assistant captain Michael Wokorach revealed ahead of the game.

On Tuesday, head coach John Duncan named the team for the tie with a few changes made to the team that featured against Namibia.

“We have had a good season and we have been improving in every game. Our target will be to win the game and we can think about the bonus point as the game goes on,” Duncan said.

Among the changes made, Justin Kimono will feature at the wing while Philip Wokorach switches from full back to fly half.

James Odong, who has featured at the blind wing all season, is set to play at 15. Namibia have already won the championship and Uganda is in good position to finish third.
