Geoffrey Sserunkuma opened his account for Buildcon but his goal wasn’t enough as Lusaka Dynamos won the game 2-1 to take home three points.
The Uganda Cranes striker put the Ndola based side in the lead as early as seven minutes but goals from Mwansa Nsofwa and Chris Mugalu cancelled out the lead with Sserunkuma’s goal turned into consolation.
Nsofwa levelled matters for the Lusaka Dynamos five minutes after the break off Fwayo Tembo assist while Mugalu’s winner came in the 88th minute to deny Buildcon at least a point.
Sserunkuma’s compatriot, Joseph Ochaya played the entire game for Lusaka Dynamos but there was no place for another ex-KCCA centre forward, Herman Wasswa.
Sulaimon Akinyemi, another former KCCA player as well as former Vipers midfielder Boban Zirintusa made the substitutes bench for Buildcon.
The win takes Lusaka Dynamos to second on the log on 39 points, two adrift of log leaders Zesco United who have played one more game.
